raindrop on.....

Rain.....rain......rain......

Another shift at the Chinese Gardens and as always what a privilege to be there in any season whatever the weather. Almost missed this blip except for catching a flash of light from a droplet which made me stop and back track to discover a new and unknown - to me - flower head just beginning to bloom and caught in the stamens of the tiny flower-ette was a drop of the stuff we have had enough of.

So beautiful and amazing that something so delicate can hold something as elusive as a drop of rain.....rain.....rain.....
