Messenger of Peace

Thirty years ago, Manchester became the world's first nuclear free city, placing itself at the forefront of the campaign to ban nuclear weapons. Ironic, as this was the city/university where Ernest Rutherford split the atom. This is Barbara Pearson's 'Messenger of Peace' in the Peace Gardens.
