Heroes of telemark

The Heroes of Telemark is a 1965 war film directed by Anthony Mann based on the true story of the Norwegian heavy water sabotage during World War II. However this time we were entering Sweden with peaceful intentions.

Yesterday we travelled to the location Hemavan most of the day as with breaks the journey took almost 10 hours. The conditions promised good skiing for the following days even if the most upper lift "Kungsliften" had been closed due to some heavy snowfall and wind. And yes, we did alright with the two most lowest lifts taking us to the tree line and to the trees. Powder snow, that's the way I like it.
