The Underpass

It was a lovely day today - blue sky, sunshine, warm (apart from the frosty start) - I had to go for a walk in the park - well it would have been a waste of an hour merely to wander into town and back.

This time I walked all round the boating lake, access to which is via this underpass (or over the road). It's not the prettiest tunnel - many years ago a mural had been painted on it by one of the local schools but it's now being covered by more scribble. I do actually like it even if it's a bit dull in there.

I've played with it a bit to emphasise the texture and colours but am actually surprised I managed to get anything half decent given that I'm not much cop at lower speeds hand held.
