This was a quick candid of my best friend... She just got back from Guatemala, where she lived for 4 months and submersed herself in the culture in an attempt to learn to speak Spanish fluently... This was her second long term submersion in a foreign culture... she spent 6 months in India working in an orphanage where the conditions were deplorable...

She's one of the most amazing people I have ever met... She inspires me to be a better person...

She is definitely a hero...
