What love made

I took a few pictures today. All without leaving the house. You see, I had a little panic this afternoon and I become very unwilling to leave the safety of my home when that happens. It's a pain. But after a week away, it encouraged me to look at my surroundings that bit closer, almost with new eyes.

Last Christmas G's brother and sister in law gave us beautiful gifts that they crafted themselves. The tiny vase was one I had admired at a craft fair. Aside from this and the candlestick, we also received a shallow bowl and a big hulking chopping board.

In this home, I love the fact we have several things our family and friends have made us. Paintings, woodwork, different types of crafting by artistic and talented loved ones. Seeing them everyday fills my heart.
