Grammar Point

Each lesson, we usually have to teach (or review) a grammar point. We follow the book and our co-teacher (Chinese) will leave us a note. Usually it will talk about the grammar point for the Unit. Sometimes it's an easy one in the beginning books.. "I am ___. I am a ___." = "I am Kevin. I am a boy." The higher books obviously have more difficult grammar points.

This is Nick0451, in my opinion the best teacher at our school. He likes to find different ways to teach which challenge his students to use their imaginations as well as their English. I know he is a GREAT teacher but like all of us, after classes some days he has to just.....

Well.. the grammar point for his lesson today was "The ___ in/with the ___ is ___." (The boy in the red shirt is Peter./ the boy with long hair is Tony) So Nick drew some pics to let his students make their own sentences. This was my favourite.. As soon as I saw it.. I knew I had my blip.

How about we get some responses from blippers and maybe Nick will tell us some of the sentences the students came up with.

Look at the pic and fill in the blanks,

The ______ in/with _____ is ______.
