The old crow!

No, you mustn't think the title is a description of me!! ( although some might think so!) We met this one on the beach this afternoon. It's been a strange, unplanned day. I was going to take Chester out this morning and then Grandpapa and I were going food shopping. Thought an outing would do him good as he hasn't been out since Saturday with having this awful cold.
Plans were soon changed, however, when we were asked to have Sabrina for a few hours whilst daughter and husband went out. I can never refuse to have the grandchildren! This resulted in taking Chester out mid afternoon for a quick run on the little beach that was left as the tide was coming in. It was FREEZING down there. The birds were circling and looking very hungry, as I think they know that bad weather is heading this way. This old crow was almost coming up to us for some breadcrumbs, getting first in line before the greedy gulls landed!
Didn't go shopping! Pizza tonight ( good stand-by). There's always tomorrow!
