A Treat

Today's highlight was definitely sipping chocolate shakes and sharing an order of fries with my two little ones. My son had his 5 year check this afternoon which involved shots. I pre-warned him about the shots so that it wouldn't be a surprise. I think that he is old enough now to know the truth about when a doctor's appointment is going to involve anything that might bring him discomfort. He did well. He didn't like it but he didn't cry. He did bring 'Mystery' with him and that seemed to help.

So we went out for a treat to celebrate the completion of shots for at least another year. The three of us sat a table together. A table picked out by our daughter and she was persistent about it. And we just sat and dipped fries in ketchup and enjoyed one another's company. It was nice. A very nice little treat.

***I have an 'image overlay' feature on my camera that I have always meant to try, so today I tried it. I took two photos of my son eating fries and combined them into one. The result......very funky......I'd like to say artsy.......most definitely a creation from 'Abstract Eyes'.***
