How to spoil a pie.
Firstly, bake a really nice cherry pie. Make it juicy, red, appetizing. Make some lovely custard and set it beside the pie. Next, take a large slice of the pie. Careful - don't break it. Shove it deep into a small round tub. Squash it in. Cover it with the custard so that only a corner is keeking out. Put a lid on it.
Still tastes great - but loses something in the presentation when it's 'for taking away'...
