Just Simply Loving!

Guildford, Western Australia

I kept coming back to this place. I have loved this old town. Its rich history, the unique antiquities being traded and displayed along the side walks, and the quaint atmosphere in the area lures you to stay a while longer.

1829 - The history rich village of Guildford Western Australia was one of three towns established during the founding of the Swan River Colony in 1829.

Perth was the administration centre, Fremantle the port and Guildford the market town.

Today Guildford is one of only two towns in Perth on the National Trust register and many fine colonial buildings from the township's earliest days continue to grace the streets.

This is the Guildford Hotel, established in 1883 but was burned down on September of 2008.

Of all photos I took of this building, this is the most descent, worthy-to-share blip for the day.

Thanks for dropping by!
