Winter Beauty

We woke up to a clear, icy, frosty type of morning....my favorite type of winter day. While the kids relaxed a bit, I took the dogs out for a quick walk. Everything is covered in frost, the light is just beautiful, and soon the fog will clear and the sun will be out. A perfect day for numerous photos, I'm sure.

But my oldest is home from school today...not a "really sick" type of home from school, just a hacking cough and I'd be really pissed if someone sent their kids to school the way she sounds....

So, we're off to get a few necessary groceries and just have a relaxing day at home....
