The Strange Undoing of Baldy and the Bump

1. A blurry photo for a blurry day. I should re take this, I know. But it's 11.45 and now I'm home and all that would be left is another picture of the cat, so the blurry photo stays. It's been grey and smudgy in all kinds of ways today so it seems to fit.

2. This is a picture of Helena, Caroline and my new niece or nephew in the oven. Three very cool people indeed. In person they are both very much in focus and not blurry in the slightest (well Helena is sometimes, but in a good way)

3. My first trip to the theatre in 2011 and a treat it was too. Maybe all shows should have sandwiches at the interval. There were lots of lovely people to see tonight and an air of excitement about lots more good things to see this week and next.

4. I can't believe it's only Wednesday. Surely there's been a weeks worth of work done already? Good news is Wednesday late night means Mad Men repeats and the making actual weekend plans doesn't seem ridiculous.

5. I discovered Seth Godwin's blog today. I should have found it a long time ago after reading Tribes, which I loved. Today he was writing about being a craftsman, and how craftsmanship can be applied to anything - not just what we think of as traditional skills. I like that idea a lot. I have a bit of a way to go with photography obviously, but I'll get there in the end.
