sweet dreams & a lot of sandflies.

Despite putting up a tent, the night was so beautiful...
we decided to sleep on the lawn and stargaze.

Unfortunately we didn't consider that evening dew.

Or the army of sandflies that ravaged us in our sleep.

However in true Kiwi-style (or just because of pure laziness, we'll never know) we gritted our teeth and survived our night on the stars. Worth that morning view and sounds of the waves crashing on the sand.
