Milk Drops

Like a water drop, but more messy!

Getting the timing right takes practice but even then it's a little bit "hit and miss". I used an external flash, camera set to manual-everything, and a +1 diopter filter allowing the camera to get within splashing range! Maybe it would have been better further away, but I needed to be able to fire the shutter with one hand whilst dripping the milk with the other, so the camera had to be fairly close. Maybe next time I'll use a remote shutter release! Anyway, only a few drops landed on the lens!

I used a black cloth behind and darkened the image afterwards a little to remove the background completely.
