Very inconvenient indeed

The engineers were working on fixing the cables outside our house from 9.30am. We finally got power back at 6pm. That was 23 hours without electricity. Amazingly, the food in the freezer was still rock solid.
I cycled to work today (for the first time in ages) and got soaked on the way home.
