No smoke without firemen

You can't see it in this picture, but there was a tiny wisp of smoke coming from the manhole cover. The fire brigade put three cones round it, and were talking to a man from Southern Electric. The automatic doors in Elphicks department store just up the road were open, and inside it was a bit dim, with backup lighting, and the escalator to the upstairs stationary and blocked off. The electrician seemed to be saying something about a fuse... That's all I can tell you!
