Like father like son
Hello Bliperians, Elmer speaking.
I am honoured and pleased to review the latest assignment and write the roundup. This weeks assignment, Fathers and Sons came from Mr. C. inspired by Neil Young's song "Old Man".
First of all I like to give a warm welcome to the new sons that joined us during this weeks assignment, Ewan and Callum. Welcome boys, you both look great!
It does not matter if you are a boy or a girl (or something else) to love your father and mother.
But we little boys have this special bond with the only Hero we know: our father. He is strong, smart and wise and he can do anything no-one else can and is never afraid. He is the guy you share a pizza with, play together with and spend some good time with to give mum a break.
We help our fathers when we get lost, we are not ashamed to hold their hands because we know we are safe in his arms.
When we grow older we sometimes disagree until we realise who we really are. We have become the same man. We have the same sparkling eyes, steal his best jokes or even end up starting a business together.
Thats the time we have to honour our fathers the best way we can. If we realise where we come from then we know where we are going to. Thats why I think its good to notice the good times we fathers and sons share.
This brings me to next weeks assignment: 'A Memory'. Inspired by one of my alltime favourite blips that I still visit frequently and read again and again because I think its a such a good story.
Don't forget to tag your entries with 'assignment30' .
