Followed my first ever Webinar tonight, a very interesting presentation on the science of email marketing.

It was based on analysis of over 9 billion emails delivered by Mail Chimp and turned some common beliefs on its head:
- weekend delivery gives higher click through rate
- 80 odd % of people use the same email for work and personal
- more links you include the more click throughs you get
