Beat Street Cafe

Went out with Mrs O for a coffee and a bite this afternoon after we had both finished for the week and we found this cafe on the corner of Barbados Street and Armagh Street in Christchurch. We had a drink and I had a really tasty spinach and cheese muffin, yumyumyum. Its quite a funky place and the food all looks fantastic, we will be back for sure.

As we went to leave I started thinking..............

How many of these sort of cafes are around our neighbourhoods that struggle because we just drive past and dont take the time to stop and try there offerings. There are not just cafes but also other shops that we dont even know what they sell because we just jump in our car and head off to the mall when we want to go shopping.
Maybe we should move back to our neighbourhood shops and make sure they dont completely disappear!!!!
