Ruined Church

A ruined chirch that has had the ruins stonework repointed and restored. Rather cold and the setting sun was still just illuminating the tips of the stonework.

I've blipped this ruin before. Todays photo is more of a plain shot and less abstract than the previous blip.

The two largest gravestones in the foreground are dated 1796 and 1815.

The sign outside says.

"Old Stone Union Church 1774 - The site of the pastorate of Henry M. Muhlenberg D.D. Known as the father of Lutheranism in America"
