Cold...

Our heating system downstairs broke down, so it's slightly colder than usually in the sitting room. We still have heating systems for the 1st and 2nd floor, so we manage fine. However, the television is downstairs and after making their home work, piano practice and thinking what animal you can make out of a fluffy pompon (we like that kind of home work, so spent quite a bit of time on that), Abbie and Pippa wanted to watch telly while I was making supper.

apparently the valve that lets the gas in to be burned and heat the water in the system doesn't function properly anymore. A new one has been ordered and we hope it can be installed on Saturday
