Bean Feast

So we forgot to do setsubun in our house. Just remembered so instead of putting the previously blipped treats to waste we decided to do it anyway, albeit a week overdue. Hopefully the gods will take the "what's a week here and there between friends?" attitude.
I should at least get some brownie points for eating all 43 of my soy beans!

For the uninitiated, the ritual is for someone in the household to pretend to be the demon. The demon tries to come in the house, but is driven out by the bean throwing inhabitants, who cry "devil out! Good luck in!" as they rain beany bullets on him.
After the demon has been cast out, all inhabitants of said dwelling must pick up and eat the number of their age plus one in beans.
It's getting harder for me to eat all my beans in one sitting. That's all I'm saying.
