He was an astrophysicist and an Oxford professor, a gentleman and a scholar, dapper and devonaire and a bit of a ladies man. His favourite word is "Indeed" and he has a penchant for hats and cravats. He is generous to a fault and fiercly loyal.

He is a really dear friend.

Poor soul he fell down on Sunday and has sustained a broken rib, a cracked toe and the injuries you can see on his face. But he is a brave soldier and carries on smiling....
