who`s the boss of who?

this is my little Robin, its a scruffy little thing but as tough as nails when it comes to its territory and other birds. it has very distictive markings and war wounds and ive known him/her for about 4 years now . i believe they can live upto about 10 years?.
each winter if the weather is harsh or very cold this little chap/lady is there at my workshop door waiting for its morning feed which sometimes if im very still it will take out of my hand.
when im not there my mate who works in the workshop opposite says that it sits on the padlock of my place for most of the morning expecting my arrival.
during the fair weather i see nor sight nor sound of him/her but i dont mind though becouse when he/she lets loose with its evening song its well worth the wait.
