Richly Blessed

These came from my lovely Grandad's house.

He was a quiet, gracious, generous kind man with sparkling eyes and endless patience which was demonstrated daily with my grandmother. Whom I loved very much, whilst recognising she was a bit of a harridan.

When he was widowed, his strength failing and his life clearly drawing towards an end, a relative of mine asked him how he felt. His answer?

"Richly blessed."
