Snowdrop drive

Hard at work all day today, but got out for a break at lunchtime. 20 minutes' walk took me to Herringston House, which has a fine display of snowdrops. The grounds are open at weekends in February for charity but not today; I had to take this from over the gate.

Despite the wet weather, lots of birds were singing, including chaffinches - the first I've heard this year.
