D-va Dinner

I spent all day in the kitchen today, doing one of my favourite things - cooking a huge meal and imagining myself as an illegitimate love-child of Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson; sort of just bunging a few herbs and things about all pukka-like, but managing to just smoulder with sex appeal and filthy innuendo at the same time.

But for me the pure joy of the day was in the company - the lovely Katherine Ellis and gorgeous husband Max. We didn't stop laughing all evening, there was champagne, wine, dressing up in policeman's outfits (ahhh the pictures that didn't get blipped!)

Here's the diva herself about to launch in to my two desserts - home-made banoffi pie, and mocha eclairs :-) As I blip this Katherine and Max are heading home with extra helpings of both for their boys, there was no way my flatmate Simon and I were gonna finish it all and I know my two nephews (who are about the same ages) LOVE mocha eclairs :-)

Now off to bed very, verrry drunk, but well-fed and in a fantastic mood!
