Buick Lady

Went to the Carrington Hotel in Katoomba today for a roaring 20s festival,hoping to snap festivities on the piazza, and, of course, people enjoying the festivities.

The Carrington is a beautiful example of a grand Victorian hotel.

Torrential rain put a stop to that. No people, ragtime band moved inside.
There were a few beautiful vintage cars on display, all alone.
I managed to juggle the umbrella, bag and camera and come up with this, which belonged to a stunning 1930s Buick.

People tomorrow, perhaps.
