Brit School Babe

We met some effervescent teenage girls from the Brit School on the train home, here's one of them showing off her fabulous looking camera, I have no clue what it is but I like it and I also liked her attitude!


So we went out! We visited our lovely friends Simon Le Vans and his flatmate Nick, who it turns out secretly joined blip last month!!!! His photos are great! Nick cooked an incredible 3 course dinner, squid bruschetta, chicken wrapped in parma ham with potatoes and carrots and banoffee pie and mocha profiteroles!!!!! OMG! I could hardly walk back to the tube, and I'm amazed we made our train! The wine and conversation flowed and it was so nice to be out of the house, with my touring schedule it's very hard for us to get together socially as people always prefer to entertain at the weekends as they work during the week! I'm really enjoying this quieter period gig wise and am writing lots of new songs and loving spending time with family and friends!
Simon and Nick live near London Bridge, such a beautiful part of London and the walk from London Bridge tube to their flat is incredibly picturesque, the Bridge all lit up and the railway arches and pubs, city Hall, the Gherkin and the Fire Station are v cool too.

Sadly Fang the Gerbil had to be put to sleep yesterday :-( We are not looking forward to telling the boys later today.... especially as our lizard only died a couple of weeks ago!
