Red Oak Tree

This is a Red Oak (Quercus rubra) ... the leaves in Autumn are amazing and when its shed its leaves I love the patterns on its bark.

(Its not a native to Scotland, planted for ornamental purposes - but we did also plant a few native oaks too).
