Dumplings

My mom and I made homemade dumplings today from scratch. From the dough to the filling, my mom followed, or improvised is more like it, a recipe passed from her mom. The making of the dough was the most interesting part as we had to add boiling hot water to the flour and knead it while staying hot. My mom shared that that was the key to making these dumplings!
