"The Rotunda" Ickworth Park, Suffolk

The impressive central 'rotunda' was built by the 4th Earl of Bristol to house his magnificent showcase of priceless treasures, collected on his tours around Europe in the 18th century. For 200 years the infamous and eccentric Hervey family continued to add to the treasures inside and out, creating the first and finest Italianate garden in England.

Will blip the beautiful Italianate garden on our next visit
