I fired off an e-mail to my MP late afternoon asking him to vote against the proposed changes to the index used to calculate the annual increase to my pension (I would lose 1.5% this year alone - in 15 years of pension I will lose over £25,000).

It came as a shock to get an e-mail back almost straight away saying that he intended to and had already written to the Chancellor about it.

I am impressed (on this occation)
