fresh fruit

i do hope that lexie remembers this as it would be a great memory.
we went out to Zygi again today to see Bappou. he is 80 on monday so we shall stop by again on the way to the airport before heading home. we all went out the other night as my mother in law had to go home today and would therefore miss the official b'day.
as always though i digress. so while we were visiting, lexie got to pick oranges straight from the tree in Bappou's garden. just one of the many fruit and veg trees/plants that grow in it. this is a big incentive to move out here. being able to walk out into your own garden and pick fruit this fresh is amazing.

this image reminded me of time spent with my own grandfather, who unfortuanately passed away before lexie could meet him. i may edit this once i get home and share some of those "memories". we shall wait and see, not sure if i want to get that up close and personal with you lot or if you are even ready/ or care.
