v. tired

My daughter had her friend over for a sleepover last night. They had both been picked for the football team this morning and had to be at school by 8am. They had set their alarm for 6:30am and successfully managed to wake everyone up! I'd gone to bed quite late last night and did not appreciate being woken up so early. I was even less keen on taking them to school so early. My son had to be at his school by 8:15.
Later on, my youngest daughter and I went to meet my friend for coffee.
After lunch, the girls and I had a big fight about kayaking. They didn't want to go and came up with all sorts of excuses. They didn't go in the end. We kissed and made up later.
I'd like an early night but I have to go out now.
