Quick thunderstorm
C&R snr were doing neighbourhood watch patrol again tonight! C is really still feverish and fluish, but she wanted to join R on the patrol, but they returned after an hour, she just had to rather come lie down and R jnr joined his dad for the rest of the patrol duty!
I quickly slipped out to take a few 'nightshots' while they were all at home, because I wanted to see if the signs of a lovely quick thunderstorm will show in the picture! ;-)
I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw how much of it dried away from the paving stones already, just about 15 minutes after it rained! C says it was só beautiful, to see the steam rising from the very hot streets while it rained, the paving as well as the tarred streets were só hot, they turned dry almost immediately after the rain stopped!
Phew, today was hot as hell around here! I always battle most in February, the heat is just simply unbearable and I think we are só tired of the terrible heat for the whole season, you just simply had enough by February!
M&Z, can you see there is a car parked in the driveway of the house next to Francois's house? Yippiee, we have new neighbours there, they moved in yesterday, from Cape Town! A lovely young couple, we are só glad, this lovely house had some real bad luck recently, what with real bad occupants, and then standing empty since you were here, but we are sure these are nice people, you can tell by their friendliness, even toward Fanie, and they seem quiet and neat!
