The King's Dominion
Finally went to see The King's Speech. We had dinner at Montpeliers in Bruntsfield, then walked up Morningside Road to the fantastic Dominion Cinema. The art deco-style picture house opened in 1938, just over a year after George VI became King.
Colin Firth has been getting deserved plaudits for his portrayal of the reluctant monarch but Geoffrey Rush, playing his speech therapist, was absolutely superb too.
