Continuing my new years resolution to go out and about more in my home country, I visited the sea life aquarium in Balloch today. I really wasn't expecting too much because the last aquarium I went to was in Melbourne and was really great.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place though, good staff, noisy otters, sharks and lots of fish. The cafe was a bit rotten, but that's unfortunately par for the course at these places.

Overall a great day out that I can heartily recommend.


btw - didn't notice that this seahorse had a collar on when I took the photo!
