Dubai International

I'm back blipping here as when Becci and I finally arrived home yesterday (total journey time 28 hours), we were absolutely shattered and I really couldn't be bothered to blip.

I had prepared though. This was one of a few shots that I took in Dubai Airport on the way through yesterday morning. It's a truly enormous place. The terminal we were in had a duty free corridor approx 1 mile long. It's quite a place. Terribly organised though. We had to deal with almighty queues at security both in and out. Also, the flight back from Dubai to Manchester seemed to take twice as long as the one going out. How's that work? Is it up hill on the way back? Becci and I both felt awful on the plane. In hindsight it was probably a lack of food, sleep and a bit of motion sickness. At the time though, I was convinced I had the early symptoms of malaria! You'll be pleased to know that I'm over my man malaria now.

Oh and the neck is nearly better, thanks to all the well wishes no doubt.

So we're now home. :( and a little :) as well.

Got loads to do, in no particular order:

Realign sleep pattern
Unpack
Tidy
Go shopping (the exciting bit)
Oh and get out of bed (Well I did say 'in no particular order')
