Pyjama day #2

Instead of a housefull of 10-11 year old sugar filled sleepovers I only had two kids in the house over the night. For the night they both decided to crawl into our bed with their blankets as hubby took the other two kids to a weekend sports camp.

It was a tummy bug that ruined her long waited bd party plans, needless to say she was inconsolable. Even in the morning the tears still came. But these sorrows are quickly forgotten, five minutes later she was calmly and happily reading a book and savouring the privilege to have an unhurried morning in her parents bed.
