Ginger and Almonds

A chorizo themed cassoulet

I couldn't find sweet Italian sausages. I was too late, and I had failed to go to the butcher's yesterday.

So, I foraged in the cupboards: one chorizo sausage left, some sherry, tinned tomatoes and thyme. The makings of a bastardized cassoulet I thought.

The boy fetched chipolatas. I found smoked garlic. The smells emanating from the casserole pot are good.
