reflections

on a different level, a reflection on life. Or rather, the life I have chosen. It's not compatible with 'romantic' nights away. Firstly, because we're both crap at romance (trying buying me flowers and you'll find out what I mean) and, secondly, we cannot just walk away from our 'stuff' for 24 hours without it being a massive stress. So, next time someone gives us such a lovely present, I'll say 'thank you' politely and then try and exchange it for something more do-able for us. The actual time away was lovely and I'm feeling very clean and relaxed after many saunas, massages, doobling around in bubbles and stuff but I wasn't that dirty or stressed beforehand to have made all the arranging worth it.
I have signed my name on the 'ungrateful cow with weird lifestyle' contract and expect life to stick to the agreed terms from now on. No crappy imported, unseasonal flowers and no compulsory enjoyment from now on, thank you. Which bodes well for Valentine's Day tomorrow. Not that Mr. Spitzi is likely to remember it or, if he does get reminded, dare to do anything about it ;-)
