Shell, still life

Taking a short walk by Scarborough Mere lake, I came across a number of seashells. I'm presuming seabirds carrying shellfish inland to eat them had left them there...?
A truly grey and drizzly day, the hardest weather to find a blip.
After taking this, I made my way back to the car....total walking time just 15 minutes. Home to warmth and wine.
