A Walk In The Rain
The forecast for today was rain, and the day lived up to the prediction. Undaunted we set out on a circular route around the Arley estate, the home of the Viscount of Ashbrook, starting at the lovely village of Great Budworth.
The signposts around Arley are a little different, they are in the form of rhymes.
"Trespassers this notice take heed, onward you may not proceed, unless to Arley Hall you speed."
The rain made it a poor day for photography but thanks to Noble Maggie and a quick Photoshop tutorial we came up with this image of Arley Green. The village consists of a school, The Old Parsonage, The Chaplain's cottage and has a lovely pond and pump. A lovely spot for a picnic when the weather improves.
