Punakaiki

We've been at Punakaiki, on the West Coast, for a long weekend.

Mrs KD was taking part in the mountain run event described here. 4,000 feet of ascent followed by a run across the tops and a looooooong descent.

She did very well.

The coast is an incredibly rugged, powefuly, beautiful place, especially when the weather's good, as it was for us.
