Doon the water

Aye. Mandy has some work on Rothesay tomorrow so for a host of reasons it made sense for the whole family to jump in the car and head there today (Saturday). It's a funny wee place. Run down, decrepit. A bit of dive really but with just enough grooming and decency about it that it isn't a total shit hole. And nice wee prom, some beach front gardens with palm trees, some Victorian architecture but otherwise ...

But we had a nice time. Sailing on a boat, a wee wander on the beach, a walk up to Rothesay castle (which is genuinely interesting) and dinner in the hotel. We got the kids in bed and settled down to watch some shit TV or something on the iPlayer. Instead we decided to download a film from iTunes. Three hours and 4.2GB later we decided to just go to sleep.
