Midnight adventures to LL Bean

The L.L. Bean headquarters store (more like a village of stores, actually) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. One of my goals for my time at Colby was to visit LLBean in the middle of the night, so we did. Unfortunately, nobody thought to check the weather first, so we ended up driving right into the first snowstorm we'd had in weeks. The drive, usually just over an hour, took over two, and we arrived in Freeport, ME around 2 am. I think. I have very few, very bleary memories of the trip. I was so overly caffeinated and exhausted that not much survived, but I remember it was fun. I think. Probably not worth four+ hours of snowy driving and then a few days of exhaustion after we arrived back on campus around 7 in the morning, but fun.
