Holly Berries

I found these pretty berries on a Holly bush this morning as a bit of a Joke I just thought I would remind you all that there is only 340 days left to Christmas Day.

A sad fact, that at this time of year just after Christmas, the dog pounds and charitys get inundated with unwanted dogs. I have been approached by the German Shepherd Rescue if I would become a foster home for a German Shepherd bitch that has just given birth to 7 puppies, I wanted to help and did not refuse. So I am busy today setting up one of the outbuilding rooms as a creche for the arrival of the dog and her pups, I have been told she is very protective of her litter and I will have to win her confidence. Once she has settled in and trusts me I will have to post some pics of the pups. Anyway this means with my own two I shall have 10 German Shepherds with me for the next 7 weeks. Oh well its all for a good cause.
