In this tale, the lion removes the thorn...

My 100th blip and it is Valentine's day... so I took a photograph of my beautiful roses! Pretty predictable I suppose, but my blip life wouldn't be as it has been for the past 100 blips if it wasn't for my boyfriend, the lion, and so I think this is suitable topic for my 100th blip.

I decided to take a picture of the thorns rather than the flower head becuase they were so beautiful in their amazing pink. I found it fascinating the way the pink in the thorn matched the pink in the leaf veins. Stunning. In addition to this, last weekend was for me more thorny than flowery. I had to do a lot of work on myself and it's hard facing facts about yourself. Anyway, I feel like I have come out the other end safely after a lion spent much of his evening last night talking those thorns out of my soul. What a devoted feline.
